I am Braced for Mist and even rain
As I sit here with my coffee.
I prefer it black, and not too sweet,
Nothing trite and frothy.
My saran hair is wigged and chestnut brown,
My inset eyes a cobalt blue,
Versus the paler palate of my clothes,
They seem to stare right through.
My pants are cotton, their hue is wheat,
Although they’re trendy, I prefer things neat.
My hooded sweater is taupe and knit,
With wheat colored hood strings of rope,
A perfect fit.
To tie them together, nothing too flashy,
Two faux leather braided bracelets - stylish not trashy.
One wheat and one tan, they match my scarf of linen,
With simple tan linen shoes, a classic, that’s given.
