An illustrator, Graphic and Toy Designer living
in New York, Jason Reilley's favorite places to explore are comic book and Toy
stores. Originally a small-town boy from Kingston New York, Jason was recognized
early for his talent in art and enrolled at the Woodstock School of Art. After
High School, he moved to New York City to pursue a degree in Animation and
Design at Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Arts.
Starting his design career at Revlon designing
fragrance packaging, he then moved on to designing toy packaging and finally to
toy design at Toy Biz. During a down turn in the industry, he moved on to
designing logos and ads for Donna Karan, then to MTV animation working on the
short lived animated show Spy Groove. After MTV Jason moved to South Beach where
he worked as Associate Art Director for "Ocean Drive Magazine" for three years.
Realizing he could not live anywhere other than New York or work in an industry
with no connection to the toy world, he moved back to New York and worked at FAB
& Starpoint designing toyetic licensed room decor.
He and his partner Stephen currently split their
time living between Boerum Hill, Brooklyn and Kingston, New York where Jason is
a freelance Toy Designer and illustrator.
