#TNPLH: There’s No Place Like Home with Warner Bros. and Habitat for Humanity

Entertainment Corporate Responsibility have teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to take to the road – the Yellow Brick Road, that is!  The “THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME” Campaign (#TNPLH) is a keystone of the 75th Anniversary celebration of The Wizard of Oz.  The partnership, in honor of Warner Bros.’ beloved film, features a digital fundraising campaign, as well as a number of themed initiatives and events around the country, all in support of Habitat for Humanity’s mission to create affordable housing in partnership with low-income families.  For more information, please visit:  www.TheWizardofOz.com/Habitat.

Habitat for Humanity draws roughly 1 million volunteers annually.  That all sums up to serving a family in need of decent housing every five and a half minutes!  Amazing!  In fact, more than 3 million people have served with affordable housing since 1976.  The Habitat for Humanity community is massive, with 1,500 affiliates – with grassroots networks – in the U.S. alone, 3,000 communities worldwide, and they are active in more than 70 countries.
