Tonner Doll on Twitter
Twitter can be an intimidating platform at first, but it also can be fun, a great way to share thoughts with other like-minded people in a casual way. We host a chat on Twitter called #dollchat each Tuesday at 9pm where people get together and just share their doll week. Some of us have been meeting like this for a while, some are brand new. Many you might know from our Facebook page. Wonderful doll collector and doll blogger Charlie Riley hosts a Sunday version of the same chat at 2pm, she introduces what it is like in this blog post.
The #dollchat hashtag can be used 24 hrs a day – you can interact with it here if you like, and read it quietly even if you don’t have a Twitter account. People tweet what is new in their doll lives, they tweet pics of their dolls or projects, share what they are looking for. Repaint artists like Shannon Craven tweet photos of their repaints in process. What is great is that the conversation isn’t reserved for Tonner Doll collecting. Not only are Wilde Imagination dolls shared, but we have Monster High and Barbie collectors as a regular part of our community, among others, in fact any and all positive doll conversation is welcome.
Below are some of the highlights of recent tweets from those in the Tonner Twitter family. They are good people to follow if you are new to Twitter. We’ll try to share more of these highlights more frequently too, for those who aren’t on Twitter yet because it is always fun to be included in the conversation.

And a little known fact is that if you like to follow us on Facebook all of our Facebook posts are automatically tweeted to our Twitter stream. It is one sure way of not missing a Tonner Facebook post, especial if you are out and about on your smartphone.
