We are just back from our 2012 May convention in Lombard, IL, and I just had to share! Effanbee Doll has introduced a new Patsy for 2012. She is the cutest thing ever! She is on an articulated 10″ body so she can be posed in so many ways.
I have always been a fan of child dolls. Robert’s Jane doll for the Tonner Collectors’ Club is still one of my all time favorite dolls. Here’s a photo of a small group of my collection of Janes.
Here’s a special Jane – a prototype – that was never produced – with blonde hair instead of her signature red hair.
And now i have a new one to add to the list! Just look at that face!
There are still some available in the Tonner Doll web store – if you’re quick enough, you may still be able to own one for your very own!
While you’re there, take a look at all the other great convention product still available.
I hope you all have a very safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Thanks so much for the great blog post Miss Nancy! I am THRILLED to see a new child doll in the line! I collect both fashion dolls and child dolls and I have SO MISSED seeing this 10 inch size child doll over the past few years! I bought one from someone who went to the convention and she arrived the other day. Just LOVE her! I would highly recommend her to all the child doll collectors out there! Definitely get her on Tonner Direct while you can! You will not regret it!
P.S. Cute Jane with the blonde hair! Always liked Jane! She was a cutie!

Miss Nancy, first–thank you SO much for all of your hard work in planning and producing the convention. It was my first and hopefully not my last, and I truly loved every moment. You rock!!
Second–new Patsy is adorable! My sister knew our Mom would love her and bought one from the sales room at convention–she was right, Mom does love her. Like you, Mom has an affinity for child dolls.

Hi, Nancy! Patsy is so cute. I just bought her on ebay from someone who was at convention. I was watching the action from home, wishing I was there. Glad to see some little girls coming back. Hugs to you all

Hi Lois
The Patsys from convention are sold out. But Patsy is going to be in the Effanbee line of dolls so you will be able to get one when they come out!
