Warm Bodies – Tonner News! | Tonner Doll Character Figures From the Film

Here’s a Tonner scoop!  We are introducing tomorrow in our 2013 new product, dolls from the huge hit movie, Warm Bodies.

Here’s the website for the movie and the trailer – check it out!

I haven’t seen it yet, but if the trailer and website are any indication, it’s a great movie.  Their website is very interactive – and fun.  Who would have thought a movie about a zombie love story would be fun?  The lead zombie is named R – yes, just the letter R – because that’s all he can remember of his name.  Here’s a great synopsis of the movie from the website:

“A funny new twist on a classic love story.  Warm Bodies is a poignant tale about the power of human connection.  After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack.  Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and ofte comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.”

The two characters we have are Julie (the human female lead) and R. Here is a special sneak peek photo for you!

  1. Saw the trailer for this movie, and laughed like crazy. I never dared hope that Tonner would be making dolls of the characters. I hope the movie is as good and funny as the preview was. I know I won’t be disappointed in the dolls, I never am!

  2. Love it. I saw Warm Bodies and it was sweet (mostly). I wish Tonner would make Downton Abbey dolls. I’m guessing there is some legal problem, like they won’t sell the rights or whatever? I think they would be hugely popular!

  3. I loved the movie the instant I saw it and also make reservations for R and Julie the tonner doll. I can wait to have them soon!
