The last week of March not only meant we were that much closer to experiencing Spring here in the Hudson Valley, but also saw our second Deja vu release to date. Who’s up for a little recap, a blow by blow of the highlights?
This release included some incredible dressed dolls and outfits. No basics were included but we can testify that you will definitely see some more basics coming at you later in the year. AND here’s a tasty tidbit of info: Later this year, you’ll be introduced to a brand new era! What era do you think it will be?
Some of the most buzzed about from the release:
Red Hot, the fiery forward thinker Emma Jean McGowan from the 1920s, is a total stunner in her cardinal frock featuring a flirty tiered chiffon skirt. With her sweet finishing touches like her red rose barrette, enchanting feather boa and shiny red stands of beads, Emma Jean is Red Hot, no question! Red Hot is now available for purchase and begins shipping 4/8. Hooray!
Another Fan Favorite from the release is the absolutely breathtaking Countryside Visit, featuring our Age of Enlightenment heroine Anne De Legere. With her regal satiny striped gown accented with blue and the straw hat with blue ribbon and feather deco, Anne is right as rain and ready for her pilgrimage to the Countryside.
Moonlit Romance, another gorgeous period piece, again features Anne, but as a brunette with cleverly coifed hair. Wearing a sumptuous mauve velvet gown with satin bow trim, Moonlit Romance is topping the Deja vu charts.
The most popular outfit from the release, without question, is Thoroughly Modern. Featuring a 20s style nautical flair with a smart pleated skirt, chevron striped navy and white blouse and white coat with sharp contrast stitching, this is an outfit for a real gal of the times! Navy shoes and a white hat complete the ensemble. To the docks!
From Modern times we saw the release of a dressed doll and two outfits: Spicy Night features Penelope as a zesty brunette with dazzling green eyes and a outfit that is muy caliente in pale yellow, crimson and black. Two fashionable outfits accompany the modern Penelope, one for work and one for play. Crisis Calm outfit is just perfect for a day at the office, with it’s no nonsense stripes and calculating checked blouse, and the Polished outfit will do on any rainy afternoon, and includes a reptile print trench coat, knit dress, brown purse and tan snakeskin pumps.
